BAY - children water bottle
Bay is a children water bottle that introduces the importance of hydration by creating a routine of drinking water in the early age(4-8yo). The idea behind the project was to design an interactive experience of drinking water, where the bottle acts as the child's companion and stimulates the child, rather than acts as a reminder. Bay interacts with the child with light and sound in a friendly and playful way throughout the day.

Designing sound, model making - Neo Pixels(Arduino, Soldering), designing the product character, filming with kids, verification of idea(Wizard of Oz with working model).

Behind the scene
During the two week project we had to identify a problem and design a possible solution. Our team of three APD1 and two IxD1 students decided to address the issue of not drinking enough water. During our research phase we came to a conclusion that if we were to introduce the routine of drinking water in the early age we would create a behavioural patter for people throughout their life. Therefore we designed "Bay", a children water bottle that would provide a better drinking experience in a fun and powerful way. We have built an interactive model, that we used for filming, presenting and validating the concept.
